International spotlight shines on La Campa

Lenca pottery was a highlight for visiting journalists in October 2010
In October 2010, journalists from several countries visited Gracias and La Campa as part of a familiarization tour offered by the Central America Travel Market 2010.

In a November 11th post on his blog the Latin American Traveler, John Mitchell, a leading Canadian photographer and journalist, shares his thoughts, impressions and stunning new photos of La Campa in "Gracias, Lempira, Honduras: Small Town with a Big Past and a Bright Future.  It's great to see the international media spotlight shine on La Campa.

Also interesting to see photos of the Lenca pottery, restored cathedral and local La Campa residents such as Dona Desideria.

Dear Michelle,

My name is Joe Pinzone and I'm casting an international travel show about expats moving abroad. We'd love to film in Honduras and wanted to know if you could help us find expats who have moved there within the last 15 months or have been there for 3-4 years, but recently moved into a new home. The show documents their move to a new country and will place the country in fabulous light. The contributors on the show would also receive monetary compensation if they are filmed. If you'd like more information, please give me a call at 212-231-7716 or skype me at joefromnyc. You can also email me at joepinzone@leopardusa.com. Looking forward to hearing from you.
